CHEESEBURGER SOUP

INGREDIENTS

3 slices bacon, chopped

1 onion, chopped

2 stalks celery, diced

2 carrots, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 lb. ground beef

Salt to taste

Ground black pepper to taste

2 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tomato, diced

3 cups chicken broth

2 cups cheddar, shredded

30 g EZ’s best all-purpose cream

Cream powder

1 cup fresh milk

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

METHOD

1. In a medium pot over heat, cook bacon until crispy then remove excess oil and set aside.

2. Add onion, celery and carrots into the pot and cook for 5 minutes until soft, Add garlic and cook until fragrant, Add ground beef and cook for about 6 minutes. Drain excess fat and then season with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Add in mustard, tomatoes and broth; let it simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Lower heat and stir in the whisked EZ’S BEST ALL PURPOSE CREAM POWDER and milk. Add in the flour and cheese continue stirring for 15 minutes or until the cheese has completely melted.

3. Transfer to your serving dish, garnished with bacon and cheese.
