CHICKEN POT PIE

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup butter

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp ground black pepper

1/2 tsp dried thyme

1/2 tsp rosemary

1/2 cup water

30 g EZ’s best all-purpose

Cream powder

1 cup fresh milk

1/2 cup sliced button

Mushrooms

1 1/2 cups boiled chicken

1/2 cup diced red bell

Pepper

1 cup green peas

2/3 cup cubed cheddar

Cheese

MASHED POTATO

2 cups Potatoes, boiled and mashed

3 pcs egg yolks

salt

pepper

nutmeg

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Melt the butter over medium heat; add flour and spices. Whisk EZ’S BEST ALLPURPOSE CREAM POWDER with milk and water and add into mixture. Whisk continuously until thick. Lower heat and add all remaining ingredients and let it simmer for 3 minutes. 
  3. In a separate bowl prepare mashed potatoes by adding the eggs with nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste. Transfer mashed potato in a pipping bag fitted with a star tip.
  4. Transfer chicken mixture into an oven-proof deep dish and level with a spatula. Pipe the mashed potato over the filling and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly brown
